Our Services
Mechanical Services
From routine maintenance to complex machinery repairs, Navalrocha provides comprehensive mechanical services focused on reliability, performance and minimum vessel downtime.
Our experienced teams undertake the inspection, maintenance, overhaul and repair of main and auxiliary engines, propulsion systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers and deck machinery.
We also carry out propeller and shaft-line works, including shaft withdrawal, rudder and steering gear repairs, as well as the removal, installation and alignment of major equipment.
Our mechanical capabilities are supported by workshop and on-board machining services, enabling the repair, reconditioning and manufacture of mechanical components. Machining works include turning, milling, drilling, boring and other precision machining operations, with on-site solutions available when components cannot be conveniently removed from the vessel.
Working closely with Owners, Class and OEM specialists, Navalrocha delivers efficient mechanical solutions as part of scheduled dry-dockings, refits and emergency repairs.
electrical & Automation
Navalrocha provides a comprehensive range of electrical and automation services to support the safe and reliable operation of vessels throughout their working life.
Our capabilities cover the inspection, maintenance, repair, installation and upgrade of shipboard electrical systems, including generators, electric motors, switchboards, distribution systems, lighting, cabling, control and automation equipment.
From fault finding and routine maintenance to equipment replacement, system upgrades and modifications, our teams work closely with specialised partners and OEM representatives whenever required.
Electrical and automation works are fully integrated with the yard’s mechanical, piping and steel activities, enabling efficient coordination during repair, conversion and refit projects.
Piping Systems
Navalrocha provides complete piping solutions for the repair, renewal, modification and installation of shipboard systems.
Our experienced teams undertake pipe fabrication and installation for a wide range of applications, including ballast, cooling, fuel, lubricating oil, fresh water, seawater, compressed air, hydraulic and other essential vessel systems.
We work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and glass-fibre piping, covering everything from individual pipe renewals to extensive system modifications and new installations.
Fabrication, installation and testing are carefully coordinated with the vessel’s operational requirements and applicable Class standards, ensuring reliable solutions and efficient project execution.
Blasting & Painting
Navalrocha offers wet blasting and hydroblasting for rust removal, old coatings and marine growth — delivering clean, prepared surfaces without the dust and environmental impact of dry abrasive methods. Painting capabilities cover conventional systems, silicone-based fouling release coatings and electrostatic application of hull coatings such as PPG Nexeon™ antifouling — a technology that negatively charges paint particles at the spray gun nozzle, attracting them precisely to the grounded hull surface for a uniform, ultra-smooth finish with significantly reduced overspray.
Steelwork
Navalrocha delivers a full range of steel repair, renewal and fabrication services for vessels undergoing maintenance, repair, conversion or refit.
Our capabilities include hull and structural steel renewals, decks, bulkheads, tanks, foundations, platforms and other structural components, from local repairs to extensive steel replacement programmes.
Steel structures and components can be prefabricated in our workshops before installation on board, helping to optimise project schedules and minimise vessel downtime.
All works are performed by qualified personnel under controlled quality procedures and, where required, in accordance with Class-approved welding procedures and inspection requirements.
