Navalrocha manages a wide variety of vessels including livestock carriers, polar expedition vessels, car-ferries, tugboats, cargo-carriers, cruise ships, military vessels, sailing vessels. In more recent years the yard has expanded into the LPG, product carrier and chemical carrier markets as well as seismic survey and ocean monitoring vessels.
Vessels up to the dimensions of our largest drydock (173.5 m on the keel blocks, 22.1 m entrance, 7.6 m max draft), and vessels of effectively unlimited size alongside at our pier-side facility.
A strategic location with more than 300 days of sun a year for ideal repair and conversion conditions, in the heart of cosmopolitan Lisbon for crew. We offer faster, more cost-effective solutions for ships avoiding the congested Strait of Gibraltar or Mediterranean, and a ready supply of spare parts that benefits vessels working the West and North African coasts.
A complete one-stop-shop with a full range of turnkey solutions, delivered with long-standing partners based inside the yard. Key services include steelwork, welding, mechanical and machining work, boiler repairs, pipework, cleaning, painting and blasting, electrical and automation work, and green technologies — plus tank cleaning, insulation and carpentry.
Four drydocks and a further repair pier, with 2,800 m² of under-cover workshops and lifting equipment up to 500 t. The scale of the operation means every project receives priority treatment from a 200-strong workforce and a cluster of specialist marine partners on site.
